This piece feels like a real stone collectors piece. I started with a deeply colored and gorgeously spikey citrine druzy. Below the citrine is a white druzy with the most adorable little tan spots like freckles! My photo DOES NOT show up these little spots to good effect--it really is a pretty little druzy. Below the two druzys is a montana moss agate and then a nice pearl. Each stone is set in sterling silver with leaf details and tiny little silver balls. The chain I made to accompany this stone collection is colorful, dramatic and varied. First is my handmade "sprout" chain of blackened sterling silver. They I wrapped black spinel on headpins and interspersed white freshwater pearls and citrine. The necklace is adjustable from 16 to 18 inches and the stone drop itself measures 3 3/4 inches.
I really enjoyed creating this necklace.
Absolutely, positively one-of-a-kind. Made with my two hands in my home studio.

This is a playful garden-themed piece. I've set focal stones of tahitian snow agate with a deep green background and gorgeous splotches of baby blue and white along with an aquamarine and an amazonite. The are arranged like fanciful petals of a flower. In addition, I've created a petal or leaf outline set all along it's edge with my gemstone fringe of green and teal tourmaline and turquoise. Leaves are cut in silver and sprouts of silver wire are enhanced with tiny silver balls and tube set peridot, swiss blue topaz, deep forest green tsavorite garnet and turquoise. The chain is handwrapped swiss blue topaz with two emeralds where the chain terminates at the clasp. The necklace adjusts from 18 to 20 inches and the focal garden pendant measures roughly 3 by 3 inches. This piece comes from a garden of my imagination and I enjoy creating radiating movement with the curved lines and leaf paths.
The argentium sterling silver (.935) has been oxidized and given a satin finish.
