This piece feels like a real stone collectors piece. I started with a deeply colored and gorgeously spikey citrine druzy. Below the citrine is a white druzy with the most adorable little tan spots like freckles! My photo DOES NOT show up these little spots to good effect--it really is a pretty little druzy. Below the two druzys is a montana moss agate and then a nice pearl. Each stone is set in sterling silver with leaf details and tiny little silver balls. The chain I made to accompany this stone collection is colorful, dramatic and varied. First is my handmade "sprout" chain of blackened sterling silver. They I wrapped black spinel on headpins and interspersed white freshwater pearls and citrine. The necklace is adjustable from 16 to 18 inches and the stone drop itself measures 3 3/4 inches.
I really enjoyed creating this necklace.
Absolutely, positively one-of-a-kind. Made with my two hands in my home studio.
