January Flower of the Month. Garnets and Gold.
I've decided to create a "flower of the month" throughout 2016 utilizing one or more birthstones for that particular month.
For January, I've created a dazzling garnet flower necklace. Marquise cuts of rich, red garnet are woven securely to form one of my flowers, and at the center I've added a cluster of stones--pink tourmaline, red and rhodolite garnets--all wrapped with solid 14k gold headpins that will not tarnish as vermeil sometimes can.
The necklace adjusts from 16 to 18 inches on a handmade clasp and extender chain, embellished with more garnets. Your necklace will arrive in one of my gorgeous taffeta jewelry pouches--perfect for gift giving and storing your jewelry.
