Plump, aqua blue and white larimar drops make a stunning pair of earrings. I wrapped them in finely coiled lengths of gold fill wire accented with london blue topaz and freshwater pearls. These earrings measure 1 1/2 inches in length.
Delightful ovals of pink kunzite in sterling silver feature a sweet cluster of multi-color sapphires and spessartite garnet. The silver is argentium sterling for increased tarnish resistance. The post is secured with a silver and silicone covered friction earnut for comfort and ease.
These adorable laguna agates feature striated purple and red--such intense and amazing color and unusual! I gave them an oval frame and added amethyst and red spinel clusters, and gave the argentium sterling silver a bright, brushed finish. These post-style earrings measure a bit under 7/8 of an inch long and 1/2 inch wide and are secured by a silicon-covered silver friction ear nut for comfort and ease in putting them on.
About Argentium Silver Argentium sterling silver is a silver alloy where most of the copper has been replaced by germanium which lends greatly enhanced tarnish resistance over standard sterling. It is .935 silver--more pure silver than .925 sterling. In addition, argentium sterling is produced using only recycled silver.
The contrast of gold, black and white create drama around these pink sapphires! I've set the sapphires in 22k gold on a baseplate of oxidized sterling silver. A lush cluster of white freshwater pearls at the base of the sapphire adds movement and interest. The 14k gold earwire is fairly short to hug your ears. They measure 5/8 " across and 7/8" in length.
Your earrings will arrive in one of my handmade jewelry pouches.
...these sweet spotted druzies though! I set them in 22k gold and a base of sterling silver that is oxidized to a near black. A rich cluster of white freshwater pearls sets the stones off just right. Posts are 14k gold and secure with a 14k gold silicone covered friction earnut for comfort and stability. They measure 1/2" x 3/4".
